Our vision

Healthy ecosystems with high biodiversity are essential for sustainable farming. Science and experience have found wins for native biodiversity can also mean wins for farm production.

The overarching goal of this project is to develop enduring resources and capability that will create a step-change for native biodiversity within pastoral farm systems.

This 20 month pilot project aims to share available knowledge to support farm decisions. It focuses on developing capability so that farms can create economically viable practices that achieve better biodiversity outcomes.

Working with farmers, catchment groups, councils and others across Aotearoa New Zealand, we are co-creating resources that will bring biodiversity into farm systems thinking and provide a proof of concept that can be applied nationally.
